Located right on Almonte's Mill Street and operated by artist Jeff Banks, JB Arts is an art school offering a wide range of programs from painting in oils, acrylics, watercolour and airbrush to drawing, printmaking, mold making glass. Students are encouraged to get messy and to try new things.
The studio itself is a spacious, comfortable, well lit area perfect for making a mess or having a birthday party. Day camps and special workshops. Simple framing, art supplies, gallery space and unique retail items from local artists.

Silk Screening Workshop: Totes & T-Shirts

Adults and teens will love this fun screen-printing event! In this family workshop, you will learn the basics of silk screening in a step-by-step process. Wear your own unique work of art! Jeff will provide guidance to design your own image to print onto fabric. Alternately, you can bring an image, or pick one from our library during the workshop. You'll learn how to make a stencil of the image, and silk screen it onto your choice of a t-shirt or tote bag. All materials provided.
