The Arnprior & District Humane Society will be hosting its 2nd annual online auction November 23–29, 2015. This year they will be expanding the auction to include handcrafted artisan items, gift certificates, gift baskets, pet supplies, general merchandise, and more. Mark your calendars for December 5 and 6, 2015 for the Arnprior & District Humane Society’s annual Pet Pics with Santa. From 10am to 4pm, Santa will be at 236 Madawaska Blvd., Suite 102 (next to RONA), for pictures with your pet. Children are also welcome to get their picture taken with Santa. We will be offering prints as well as digital copies to easily share with family and friends via email and social media. Christmas Flowers at Perth Horticultural AGM & Potluck

The Perth & District Horticultural Society invites you to join them on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 to watch Cindy Zorgel create fabulous floral designs you can make for this Christmas season. Cindy is a very talented Almonte floral designer, who is always a pleasure to watch as she creates attractive floral pieces. A silent auction of her creations will follow - you may be fortunate and win one of Cindy’s arrangements!

This meeting is also the Society’s Annual General Meeting and annual Pot Luck Supper, so will begin earlier than usual. It is at St. Paul's Church (25 Gore Street W. in Perth) at 5:45pm (dinner to start at 6). Please use the D’Arcy Street entrance. If you want, bring your favourite dish and join them for dinner. PDHS will supply the turkey. Also, for anyone who wishes to be creative, please bring a centerpiece for the tables (these will be given out as door prizes at the end of the evening).

Membership to the Horticultural Society is only $10 per year; visitors pay $3 admission. Everyone is welcome!
