The Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust (MMLT) is a registered charity that protects and stewards ecologically sensitive and biodiverse lands across the Mississippi and Madawaska River watersheds. MMLT also fosters people’s connection with nature for its many physical, emotional, and societal benefits.

You’re invited to get involved by helping maintain trails, contributing to species monitoring, supporting outreach or fundraising, or leading guided hikes. Volunteers — whether occasional or ongoing — play a vital role in protecting the wild places we all love.

Please join us for a screening and conversation around the recently released short film “Nature's Path to Wellness,” which explores the role of nature in healing and wellness. Following the 15-minute film, featured participants will share additional reflections, with time for audience discussion on the value of nature for our wellbeing.
