The Almonte Trad Song session meets the fourth Sunday of the month upstairs at the Barley Mow to sing traditional songs with choruses such as sea shanties and old gospel tunes. We revive the days when people would gather round the kitchen table or in a local pub to sing and play for their own pleasure. Most songs are from the British and North American traditions, including sea shanties, old gospel tunes and anything with a good chorus, so that everyone can join in.
